A very successful Junior Open at The Warwickshire!

The Warwickshire Junior Open took place on Friday 23rd July, thankfully with the weather still fine but a little cooler so a more pleasant temperature in which to play golf. We had 26 entries in total from 12 different golf clubs, with some from as far afield as Cheshire, although a few had to withdraw for various reasons including isolation due to COVID. The Gross Champion was Finn Stokes from Atherstone Golf Club with a Gross 75 off the White Tees on Earls. Close behind was Runner Up Ollie Clark of Ladbrook Park and The Warwickshire, also on 75 but losing on count-back. Best Nett was Alex Hougham of The Warwickshire with a Nett 71, whilst Alfie Mitchell from Nuneaton Golf Club won the Under 14 Best Nett with an excellent Nett 68. Thank you to all of our volunteers from The Warwickshire who helped the day run so smoothly and to Kathy, our Ladies' Captain, who very kindly presented the prizes.
