THE WARWICKSHIRE JUNIOR OPEN 18 hole Q Medal Earls CANCELLED Rules

1. The competition will played under The Rules of Golf for stroke play as laid down by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and any local rules specified by The Warwickshire Golf Club or the competitions committee at the start of round of the competition. Players must be under 18 on January 1st 2020

2. The competition will be 18 hole singles Medal Stroke Play. The Open Champion will be the player with the lowest Gross score. Ties will be decided by last 9,6,3,2,1 holes on card.

3. All players must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their start time.

4.A current CONGU Competition Handicap Certificate must be produced.

5. Club bar rules: No Caps to be worn. Mobile phones to be used outside the bar.

6. Players must be on the tee five minutes prior to their time slot. Any player late for their allotted start time will incur a two stroke penalty.

7. Any player who fails to turn up for play without good reason and without notifying The Warwickshire Golf Club in good time will be disqualified from entering the competition the following year.

8. Any person wishing to enter the competition must submit entry form together with the entry fee of £18 in a sealed envelope and sent to Junior Open Administration , The Warwickshire Golf Club

9. The closing date for entries is 23.00 hours on Wednesday 15th July 2020.

10. The entry fee is not refundable unless a suitable replacement is found.

11. Each competitor must hold an official CONGU Competition handicap certificate. Every competitor must be able to provide his/her handicap certificate when booking in on the day.

12. Play will be from Red tees Girls & White,Yellow tees Boys.

13. Players must submit and enter their score cards on the touchscreen immediately after the completion of their round. The Rules of Golf apply to all players until their score card is submitted.

14. Score cards not signed by the player and marker will be disqualified.

15.In the event of a warning klaxon being sounded for adverse weather conditions, players must leave the course immediately, marking their ball where it lies, and play must not re-commence until the 'all clear' is sounded.

16. Any dispute must be immediately reported to the organising committee whose decision will be final.

17. Slow play will be defined as the loss of more than one hole between groups.

18. In the event of a complaint of 'slow play' course marshals will be directed to request players responsible to speed up for the benefit of all players. In the first instance, offending players will receive a warning. A second breach of this rule will result in the offending player receiving a penalty of one shot. A third breach of this rule will result in disqualification. Penalties for second and third breaches of the rule will be decided upon by the match referee whose decision will be final.

19. Any player failing to comply with any of the rules will be disqualified.
